I also hate grass patches in the middle of the fucking beach when there's god damn sand tiles that act as grass, I hate random HM gates in the middle of my fucking towns alongside more grass and more god damn acro paths, and I hate mismatched shit like sandstone built into a mountain because finding a better tileset's too fucking hard and every god damn map has to look like a tileset folder puked all over it. This is literal child level map making, it's fucking pathetic and the maker's somehow even worse than the maps they make because of how autistic they act when people tell them what's fucking wrong with their designs and even nicely help advise them.

Or just put land there, not like arbitrarily putting land in water areas isn't a new concept for these maps, seeing as the Pacifidlog Town map adds in a bunch of land despite completely ignoring that it intentionally didn't have land originally for a fucking really good reason.

The map itself isn't too bad, but it has unnecessary things that don't make sense. Remove all the bike tracks, change the cliffs to wooden floor like the rest of the city, rework the area where the wise glasses are and put the mart there, lastly decrease the number of logs connecting everything, make the path streamlined. That's all you have to do to make this better.

There are only two things wrong with this one, the bike tracks and the floating pokeball in the sea. If those lanterns or whatever are some sort of puzzle, I could give a pass to the bike tracks since it's something minor, but it would be better to just make it normal floor.

For all the shitposting, just learn more about mapping and change your maps for the better. Program them and actually traverse them to see how clunky they would be to actually navigate. Don't spam acro bike paths everywhere, especially in natural environments where they make no sense like Pacifidlog. Your routes are mostly fine, it's the towns that are clusterfucks.

assuming you're actually OP, the problem with most of your maps is you're making changes that aren't needed
Lilycove is already a pretty big city, so it feels like you're unnecessarily expanding it and the result is an overly-busy mess
then you've got things like Pacifilog >>48920148 where the original idea is "small minimalist village in the ocean" and you expand it into "giant town with logs and bike paths fucking everywhere"
your Rustboro >>48920070 actually looks decent because it retains that original feel of the town without supersizing it for no reason
think about why the maps look like they do. if you approach a town with the mindset "I'm going to make it bigger because obviously that's better" then it's just going to result in a mess.

There should be a clear difference between walkable and purely visual/background ones, you’re getting them kinda mashed up in a confusing way.

Make sure your areas are comfortable to walk around, consider tile spacing. Test your levels as you were some random idiot instead of yourself. That’s how you do level design

Keep it up, you will improve.
