Mew or Arceus created humans, it just depends on if you count creating the universe and souls or if that's more a "our creator's creator" thing.

That's a Sinnoh myth, along with the human that killed alot of pokemon with a sword until a shadow pokemon stopped.

I don't like the idea of a Pokemon that can be captured being responsible for creating humans specifically. I don't even feel like Arceus should be a thing unless it is like an expression of the Pokemon world's creator god and not the actual, literal creator.

The entire point of the Sinnoh games' story arc is that those myths aren't myths like people thought. They're romanticized but are ultimately an accurate retelling of history.
