No not at all. Tilt the stick and you’ll see a soft flap you can lift with your fingernail or tweezers or something. Electric contact cleaner sprayed into that opening will take care of early drift and if you’re careful not to grind the sticks more you’ll probly be fine after that

Anyone have the item thelat changes abilities to hidden abilities? Or more importantly a mon with pkrs? I can't offer much as I haven't delved into breeding yet. Only made ponytas with hypnosis and charm for funsies. Would be willing to do somthing in return though.

I feel stupid /vp/ prease help me understand. I have a ditto that im using to breed a houndour. The Houndoom i'm using has early bird as an ability, and all of his babies are hatching with early bird. Is it possible to hatch one with flash fire? Not a hidden ability mind you.

Ability Capsule changes your Pokemon's ability to its other non-Hidden one (if it has one).
Ability Patch changes your Pokemon's ability to its hidden ability (if it has one). Also much more valuable in-game (costs 200 BP while Capsule is only 50)

I had rotom mow with a yacht berry, he had 2 water types that mow could have killed with leaf storm or did massive damage with volt switch. He uses ice beam, berry activates, and I get frozen on the first hit. There were only 3-4 mons left of both sides.

how does damage calculation work?
I'm trying to decide between two moves, and I'm not sure how the moves' power and my pokemon's stats interact. let's say my infernape has 150 attack and 100 sp attack, and i'm deciding between flamethrower (90 power) and flame wheel (60 power), does the strength of flamethrower make up for the lower Sp Att?

these aren't exact numbers, i'm just throwing a hypothetical out there for a general question

Yea, I miss the way SwSh random battles were set up. Ive tons of great matches there.

In like 50 or so battles, I've only dealt with maybe 3 comp players. One was a doubles team that absolutely kicked my ass. I don't play doubles at all (I have a shuckle and blissey on my team), but this dude has quash/tailwind murkrow an excellent team synergy. Straight embarrassed me.

I can do singles but find it boring, imo there is less skill involved and matches can turn into a steamroll with 1 bad switch into a setup mon, doubles let's you have to think about whether or not the mon you're attacking is going to protect itself and your entire team acts as one unit rather than small squads.

Yea, but I was aiming at the arcanine snd apparently gastro drew it in. I thought I had to aim directly at it for storm drain to activate it.

Again, I only play singles. But I'll admit, doubles was definitly fun and seems to require more thinking.

I can get you everything on your list if you give me a while to breed everything, I just finished my dex today so I wanna help some other anons finish theirs so if anyone else needs stuff from this list lmk and I can breed multiple eggs.
All those items sound great if you have them duped and you have extras of all of them, especially apriballs.
Also LF random breedjects so I can start shiny hunting soon, but any pokemon in return is fine

The same exact situation happened to me last match I played him. Archanine was in played and he switched into gastrodon. Luckily I didn’t fall for it and used Shadow Ball instead of Hydro Pump to knock out the Gastrodon which was already at low health.

Doubles is a whole different metagame than singles. 4luck was correct. I made a bad switch against daphnes garchomp and it lost me the match. Doubles requires a lot of thinking and reads.

Exactly. I had several stupid plays that match because I'm not used to taking protect into account. I also threw my ditto out on the wrong side of the field and transformed into the wrong pokemon.

Way more strategy invovled.
