You would be fine if GF subtly starts redesigning their unpopular Pokémon to make them more appealing? Not complete redesigns, just make some details of their designs more interesting or better-executed without removing these completely or making them looking like too different as their previous design.

I know Pikachu's example is not one people like too much because everyone liked Pikachu before, but I could use it as example. This shouldn't be a problem in Pokémon that aren't being so well received and the complaints about them are due to a single detail and not the entire design.

I know some designs are iredeemable because they failed in too many things but imagine if they make Rhyperior losing weight a bit without removing anything else. Or make Probopass's moustache wider on the sides of its face and less attached to the nose and more attached to its chin (just like some of its TCG cards). I think it would be easy only editing their models a bit.
