>Shiinotic: Creepy fairy ring will'o'wisp-like mushroom shaped like a bed lamp, but can enrich the earth and share energy if it wishes
>Mimikyu: Doppelganger/Changeling, wants to pull a kill and replace in the anime and has a true form so nightmarish the sight will strike you mortally ill, but above all else it merely wants friends who'll love and cherish it
>Morgrem: Redcap that lures others into the forests before slashing them with it's hair, but also is a harvest spirit that enriches crops, an invaluable boon to many a hamlet
>Grimmsnarl-G: Goblin Prince who lulls it's enemies to sleep with magic before finishing them off, and towers over it's enemies as an ancient giant
>Hatterene: Fairy-Tale Witch that is prone to hunting down and mauling senseless all who transgress it's rules and domain, but also has medicinal magic to cure the injuries and ailments of other creatures and fairy dust to gift others psychic abilities, giving reason why others might seek it out anyway
>Hatterene-G: Worshipped as a Goddess of Rage in days of old (like most fairies were before they became demonized), it's signature attack is literally called "Smite" and fires bolts of divine lightning, and it personifies numerous old characters such as The Morrigan or Rapunzel
We need more fairies like this.
Game Freak has made good progress from Gen 6's conceptual rock-bottom of the idea.
