never had any. a lot of my pokemon enjoyment came from using an action replay to inject hilariously broken hackmons, walk out of bounds to sequence break the shit out of the game, and encounter glitch pokemon by but having anything in my party.

Yep same, the day where I actually was able to glitch hack my way into locked shit like Shaymin's flower garden and Faraway Island is the day I fell in love with injecting. Makes me really wish there was an action replay for the switch, but the games suck dick now so I doubt there would be anything fun to really do. I will say the hacked raids during last year was really fucking fun cause it was a mad dash to try and get in to get 999 items, hacked movesets, shinies, etc. Hell injecting is how I got Gmax Melmetal and Toxtricity almost a year before they officially came out

I was into edgy games for edgy teens as a teenager and when XY came out I thought "holy shit breeding and training a team takes forever" even with super training mini games (which was based btw) and I already hacked multiple 3ds's so it was very easy to use pkhex and inject a team in a matter of minutes.

Any adult who has time to breed and train a team as well as play more than 10 games with it is not contributing to society in any meaningful manner.

I don't care as long as it passes checks.

Also since gen 6 is the first gen that makes injecting mandatory to catch them all, I see it as a necessity to avoid Gamefreak's oversights due to sheer laziness.

These two made it necessary all the way back in 2002, so not much of a choice (also happy December everybody). Though I rarely create Pokemon from scratch, just use it to skip EV training and more tedious ways of getting specific moves.
