Is kyurem tied with flygon for having a great design but being cucked through stats/typing and attacks?
This massive dragon wasn't even considered a legendary by smogon. And people didn't even regularly use this pokemon.

Kyurem was UU.
I used it in my hail team all the time. Hail was my main team.
Haven't played since gen 5

He can't be "checked" by Stealth Rock. Kyurem's problem is, like >>48943462 said, the amount of sets Kyurem can run and how that COULD (key word, i don't find myself voting for a Kyurem ban) make team building revolve around it.

If anything, Kyurem's problem is 10 times lighter compared with Lando-I's problem. Lando-I could run like a gazillion movesets and you were forced to build your team around it.

Kyurem on its own? Has fantastic stats, but the ice typing holds it back considerably in terms of having a long threat presence. It's great offensively, but too many options really kinda take this thing out. That and it doesn't exactly have too many coverage moves. Still an awesome pokemon, my favorite of the three.

I'm pretty sure you'd look fucked up if this was what was left after splitting your two better halves. It's hollow, it longs for its original power, just to feel whole again, to have purpose, I really sympathize wholly with Kyurem.
