I was playing the Classic version, Masquerain is still bug/flying
But yes
I switched out Heracross/Staravia because of its intimidate and Masquerain/Vespiquen kept picking my team apart with Icy Wind and Acrobatics
I couldn't get a good hit with Geodude

This is the team I just beat Clay with. Evolve your Magnemite, and use Graveler. Once I came out with Graveler Burgh immediately used Focus Blast to take it out. Obviously Sturdy is invaluable. Rock Blasted it to death so my fire moves wouldn't be weakened. He gave Houndoom Intimidate so I could get two Fire Fangs in on Excalibur

Right now I honestly want to play through BW2's Black Tower, but I also want to complete the Pokedex. Haven't been through Black Tower in forever, so do you have any good Pokemon recommendations?

Not sure what thread that was, but I remember seeing this lmao. I recommend using Ferrothorn. Broken pokemon. Liligent is pretty good with Quiver Dance, Giga Drain and Sleep Powder.

This was a genuinely good design change though. As much as I miss the care behind Mart placement and NPCs, combining Centers and Marts perfectly reflects the changing layouts of JP convenience stores. Cutting down on loading bloat by just putting the Connection features on the same floor was a genius move as well.

Personally I prefer this design to Gen VI, which kinda came off as a bit much, I think Gen VII actually pretty well nailed the design by having a big open main area leading to the Nurse, Mart and tertiary, Gen VIII somewhat lacks the openness of the space by having the three clumped together. I do miss the multi-level aspect of the HGSS and Gen V designs though, it also provided a logical space where the Nurse can go if the Pokemon requires more significant care. A sort of happy medium between the HGSS/Gen V design and Gen VII/VIII design I think would be optimal.

The cafe in Gen 7 was a very nice addition. It didn't do shit but it was comfy, and sometimes that sort of thing helps. Also it's got good Hitomi Sato music.

Don't have either of those or want to play a Gen 4 game instead? You're going to need to set up an older less secure Wi-Fi signal because Nintendo didn't plan ahead, I can't help you there.
