Does Pokemon actually give as many hints to future games as people say they do? I remembered this argument I had way back with a guy that was convinced Let's Go Johto was coming soon because one of the Johto Gym Leaders was on a card in the TCG. The only real hints I remember are the useless statue from Alola in X/Y and pic related. Have they ever done a really obvious hint or is it just shit like this that only makes sense in hindsight?
