You mean her ancestor? And there was no concept of a champion in the time the game is set in

no, I mean her. it's already confirmed the Arcphone is a device from the future so somebody traveled back to the past while having it on them. Cynthia is one of the very few people in pokemon lore who has ever seen Arceus in the flesh and is the only dork who'd consider carrying something so stupid around with her.

I don't see this happening anon. The only place this could possibly happen is the anime, and it doesn't look like that will happen based on how the season is going.
