>>48965543>>48965543300 people for 5 years you retard. You realize context matters right? You can’t just throw a bunch of people at a project and expect it to work. The game was originally only supposed to be 10 hours, but the longer they worked on it the more they realized that wasn’t going to happen. If a team of 300 who’s worked on games like GoW their nearly entire careers, couldn’t condense the game into 10 hours in 5 years, and is directly funded by Sony themselves, why do you think it’s feasible for GameFreak at the point they are at? We already know most of the money Pokemon makes as a media franchise doesn’t even go directly to GameFreak and is only licensed and published by Nintendo, so it’s not like it’s this huge company wide teamwork whilst working on the games with the budget of other titles. Saying GameFreak is incompetent because..? Is just frankly retarded.
> Gamefreak has no excuse for not being able to make "pokemon: decent graphics version"Besides the fact that they only have experience in 3D development for 9 years as opposed to companies like CDPR who have been developing 3D titles since 2003? What the hell is this logic?
> They've been making the same game their entire runtimeThey’ve literally been working on sprite based gamers for 20 out of the 31 years they’ve been in business. Their first 3D title began development in 2010. LGPE and SWSH both started development in 2016, so the fact that they went from XY to those two titles with a split team in the span of just 6 years is commendable on their part. And the games will continue to look better as their 3D development further improves, which is why we are getting the expansive Wild Areas of SWSH’s DLC and Legends.
Retards like you who have never worked on a game before think throwing a huge amount of people and a bunch of money at a project will make it look like Forza Horizon all the time
