There are good fakemon and bad ones. Same with Pokemon. The difference though with a Fakemon is if I don't like it, I'll likely never encounter it in any meaningful way other than a picture with a typing.
A real pokemon, if I play the games, will occasionally be forced into my vision and I have to make a decision on it.
