Pokemon Yellow had the best overworld graphics out of all the games. The bold and loud colours look stylistically better than the multicoloured pixel successors and far better than the bland 3D graphics. This style is what they were best at and they have never topped it to this day. The access to more colors made the graphics weaker by comparisson.
