These things are created for the purpose of running them in Corocoro as advertisement for the movie before its premiere. You're not meant to "buy it", you're meant to read it in a magazine you normally buy anyway and then get excited for the movie.

The original manga wasn't very faithful, anon. This one got a sequel, which is the only Mewtwo Returns adaptation.
