Are you excited to see the Legends Arceus starters get new final forms? Are you going to wait and see what their new final evos look like first or do you already know which one you're going to choose?

If Samurott stays walking in four legs it's gonna look like shit no matter what so hopefully the form capitalizes better on Dewott's design
Fighting type Decidueye has a lot of ways it could be cool but it's also just a Decidueye so I don't expect much

As a Decidueye guy myself I'm a bit mixed with the new form. Regular Decidueye was perfect in my eyes already so it getting the fighting type is kinda weird for me. I think it could work as long as they boost his speed and attack stats(should probably remove some special attack) not expecting much for designs and fan-art I've seen for it kinda scares me that they could fuck it up.

Typhlosion is the biggest winner out of the trio desu. How are you going to beat a fire/ghost shougun, the concept alone sounds cool, damn near impossible to fuck up a design for it.

Samurott is also eating but typing wise it's probably worst than both Decidueye and Typhlosion honestly. A ronin Samurott is look cool no matter what.

I'm excited to see them all and will go with my Decidueye(hisuian or not)

I have similar concerns about alt Decidueye, but they probably wanted to shake up its vibe, and since he was already characterized as a shifty/spooky guy, the Fighting type is basically the opposite of that. I hope they manage the stats better of course, and the HA. Relatedly, do we know what was going on with that symbol the leaker posted alongside what he said about the new Decidueye? I never knew what was going on with that.

Note: This was in reference to the starters new signature moves. So whatever the new Hisui Decidueye will look like it's definitely fighting for some sort of justice and will still likely be a archer. Honestly after looking into this stuff I'm more excited about decidueye and honesty optimistic about how the new form will turn out

What I meant is that every regional variant either shares an identical posture or body structure as the original. They'll likely give the starters a new design gimmick(like Golem's cannon or Stunfisk's bear trap design) but their body types will remain the same.

Thanks for the info. Choosing that symbol in particular seems a little weird, but it was probably mostly because of the arrows. A fighting type arrow move definitely sounds unusual, and interesting. Let's just hope for more speed and attack power.

I was wary about Hisuan Forms for the starters because I would have preferred for the originals to get a chance to shine to shine, but the Fire/Ghost Typhlosion sold me on the idea (though I hope the original at least gets Earth Power and a set up move)
I just wish they'd get on with it and reveal the starter evos, I understand them not wanting to build suspense but considering how Gen 8 has been, I just want to be sure that all this isn't too good to be true.
