I'm playing Gen 5 for the first time and just reached Castelia City.
Every moment from first seeing the perspective shift to view the bridge and city from afar, to the camera movement while crossing the bridge was amazing.
And then you finally get to the city and it's filled with people going to and from places, with dialogue popping up as you overhear conversations.
Castelia City might be my favorite place in any pokemon game I've played, this would have blown my mind if I had played it on release.
Why did they abandon the pixel art style in favor of worse looking 3d?
