I'm thinking of trying out Renegade Platinum for the first time. Are there any requirements to play it (like a specific emulator)?

just patch the rom and use any emulator. i had graphical glitches with melonds, so i used desmume

I would prefer that option since I like to play Pokémon on the go. Don't you need the DS to be homebrewed? I've never done that before.
