Besides, you literally have the option to just not use the nurse at the end of the routes in Unova, they literally only exist so that you can grind with quality of life. They don't exist in Victory Road, for example, with 8 trainers in a row and the highest leveled wild Pokemon you've seen up to that point spawning pretty much everywhere.
