By contrast DP had a substantial amount of content for a DS game, and there’s clearly an outline for a good game in place. It’s an enjoyable experience, not to mention the graphics are right at home on the DS as opposed to the abomination on the switch. It’s still heavily flawed but it’s somewhat forgivable because for all its flaws it has a lot going for it.
You’re just wrong, most, if not all the people who actually bought and played them ended up praising them as good specifically because it works with the framework of a pre nugen Pokémon game
