Legends is around the start of the industrial revolution so coal fuel wouldve been popular at the time. But it wouldn't have been to the point where we'd fuck up the Earth beyond repair. I just want to use it in a better game though

I hate this forced fossil fuels narrative in Pokemon. You have mythical creatures that run around eating pollution and expelling clean air and most of the power in the games is shown to come from eco-friendly sources anyway

To be fair, Corsola died out from a natural disaster likely cause by Eternatus, and I think the point of the other two is to show that legends takes place in a time where humans and pokemon didn't get along as easily.

Only galarian corsola gets the boost as far as I'm aware. This is one of my problems with regional variants, they only temporarily boost shitmons. The gen 4 approach of making new evolutions for the older shitmons is better. Look at BDSP. You can catch corsola but it can evolve so there's no reason to use it unless they decide to add regional variants
