I just witnessed someone miss six Focus Blasts in a row.
Can someone help me with the math? 0.3^6 (30% miss rate times 6) is 0.000729

Battle Tower...it feels like the AI cheats and in some cases it does, Palmers Cresselia in Platinum has 3 sets of 252 EVs, but anyway. I was frozen 2 times in a row in it, then hit with a OHOK move...

Probably the worst thing I experienced was encountering a shiny wheezing on mount stark in pokemon diamond, getting it down to red health on the third turn, then it using explosion.

Similar thing happened to me on the Battle Subway. A 28 win streak was was ruined by Sheer Cold connecting twice in a row.

My first shiny ever was in Sword, where I was trying to capture a Galarian Koffing/Wheezing for the Kantonian one, and every single one of the would explode on turn 1 or 2. So when I ran into the shiny, I immediately used a Master Ball.

I was doing a playthrough of sword and I recently accidentally encountered a shiny inkay and shiny zigzagoon accidentally while trying to look for a 5% encounter rate pokemon in the span of 30 minutes.
