Man, honestly tropius has no business being as weak as it is. Hoenn goes out of it's way to not make any pokemon TOO good, but man like really? Did tropius need to be THAT weak? It's a mid-late game rare encounter, they easily could've given it higher stats and it wouldn't have been broken. Even something like 5 more points to each of it's offenses and defenses would've been enough

There isn't any specific pokemon that you need to beat any of the game. As long as you keep your team strong any 6 pokemon work. And let you use the necessary HMs of course.

what a weirdly cool idea for a pokemon. think about it, he's a banana tree, a dinosaur, and can fly. imagine if they did that for more pokemon, three concepts combined into one. shame he kinda sucks granted but such is life.

It isn't good pokemon for beating the game either. Of course you can use any mon, but it doesn't have much to offer, unfortunately.
One of the best grass designs though.

+5 would be pretty measly for 68 Attack, 72 Special Attack, and 51 Speed. And I'd wouldn't focus on both attacking stats, only one.

I was actually thinking about using one in SP, since my friends and I are all playing with lesser-used pokemon, even post game. I didn't even know he had access to DD, that's pretty cool. I guess there's a lot of ways I can run him. I even already have a Drought Ninetales to pair him with.

Why not just keep Tropius's bulk the way it is but increase its Speed and Special Attack? 460 BST leaves lots of room before you got the "WAAAAAHHHHHH THE BST CANT BE HIGHER THAN ARCANINE'S FUCK YOU YOU'RE HAVING DEFEATIST BUT WE'RE CREATING ZACIAN ANYWAY REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
