It can take literal weeks to obtain Heracross with bad luck. Nobody is asking for everything to be free, just for everything to be actually obtainable before you've beaten the entire game while waiting for rng to decide you get a pokemon now.

Is Heracross even worth it? like he has strong moves and hits hard with Facade but he's also 4X weak to flying, a pretty common type

Not sure why they not only made it Honey Tree exclusive but also made it so so rare in DPPt. In RSE you can find Heracross in the Xatu/Phanpy grass of the Safari Zone before the postame. In FRLG you can find it in the postgame Pattern Bush. In BWBW2 you can find it on Route 12. Even in GSC you can find Heracross more easily since you don't have to wait 6 hours for another attempt to headbutt a tree.

Honey trees are fun and one of my favorite things of diamond and pearl. Made it so cool whenever you got a heracross. I got tons of em in my PC box it’s the only gen where catching multiple pokemon is actually kind of fun.
