>>49010583Not him, but as a non-Portuguese living in Portugal that has traveled around quite a bit, i can already tell you that food here is one of the best, if not the best in Europe. And if we're talking capitals exclusively, Lisbon is pretty good and organized, probably one of the best in Europe too, specially compared to dangerous, dirty, stinking shitholes like Paris and London (and Dublin to some extend). Although I much prefer the countryside to capitals pretty much every time.
But in terms of nature in western Europe, Portugal is good but definitely not the best. For example, the mountains and countryside in Northern Ireland are on another level.
Honestly, the worst things about Portugal are things that you'd only know living here, like the shitty wages which make working here so unappealing (fortunately I'm self-employed), high taxes, paired with very lacking public health, extremely complex tax laws, and high amount of bureaucracy for everything. But for tourists, none of that matter. They just get to enjoy how cheap stuff is compared to the rest of Europe. It's a nice country though.
