Not implying 3rd world countries don’t have it worse but the whole “people in first world countries don’t even know what hardship is!” is quite literally just 3rd worlder cope, trying to grasp at any sense of superiority they can. To experience hardship is to struggle with immense stress and suffering, both physically and mentally, literal rich people struggle with “hardship” because having so much responsibility weighs on people. There isn’t a person in the whole world who has never experienced hardship to some degree. But by all means, don’t allow sensibility and reason to rob you of your paper thin coping mechanism
