Do Gen 3 Chinese knock offs work with pokemon dpp? Need to get my pokemon xd mons up to current Gen but I don't want to take out a housing loan on a video game.

A *good* reproduction cart that uses the correct save memory chip type would be compatible. Shitty ones that use a different chip type and modify the ROM to use that chip, will not work unless you also modify DPPt to use the same save type in slot 2.

problem is 99% chance they don't work. Just buy a sapphire or ruby and use that? they are much cheaper than emerald, also leaf green is way cheaper than fire red too. Check those out.

Any will work with GameCube since that's just in game linking. The berry patch won't work though since that's multiboot. And no flashcart will do Pal Park.

Sorry, I haven't looked into repro gen 3 carts since I have real ones I got either new or used at Gamestop back in the day. If there's any reviews on it by people who tried it with Pal Park though that will be helpful.

... If you could boot an EZF Omega up in GBA mode and then somehow reset the DS back to DS mode without resetting the Omega, it might work. I believe that one uses clean ROMs and emulates the correct save type. However it stops pretending to be the cart you selected when it loses power.
