If you're using rentals you'll need to rely on RNG a lot since some fights are literally unwinnable unless the CPU makes a "mistake".

If you're playing rental only, there's only so much you can do. Keep in mind that unevolved forms are often better in rental because they put shit moves on the evolved ones.

You gotta see who has the highest stats naturally. I.e. Electrode has the highest speed stat in the meta even if the opponent is a couple levels higher. I cheese my way through with t-waves then swap for a mon with high ATK and Spec ATK
