This response only highlights how much of a brainlet you are, considering that the VAST majority of Dark Pokemon are in fact black. Not only are most naturally Dark Pokemon also black, but also Pokemon that BECOME Dark tend to also take on a black colouration in the process. Take for example Umbreon, a Pokemon that embodies the Dark typing like all Eeveelutions do, which is black. Or Alolan Rattata/Raticate, which are ordinarily just Normal types but which gain the Dark typing along with black fur. Or Galarian Moltres, which replaces its Fire typing with Dark as well as its yellow down for black. There is simply no denying that the Dark typing is predominantly signified by black colouration.

Not only that, but the only moves Luxray learns via level-up are Normal, Electric and Dark. It also looks generally mean, like most Dark Pokemon. The simple fact is, if Luxray had been Dark-type to begin with, nobody in the world would have thought that its typing seemed out of place.

Finally, "hurrr its black so it must be Dark" is literally the only reasoning that applies to Mightyena's typing, and yet guess what: it is a fucking Dark-type. The implication of your post - that black colouration is an irrelevant indicator for Dark typing - is so stupid it actually gets refuted by the mere existence of another Pokemon.

Luxray may not be a Dark-type, but your post is still idiotic. It takes a special kind of stupid to be arguing the correct conclusion with a completely false premise.

ignoring the roundings

Stat = [(2*Base+31+252/4)*100/100]+5]*1.1 = (2*Base+99) * 1.1 = 2.2*Base + 108.9

Let's now check how Base has to change to make 2*Stat equal Stat:

2*(2.2*Base + 108) = 2.2*Base2 + 108
4.4*Base + 216 = 2.2*Base2 + 108
4.4*Base + 108 = 2.2*Base2
Base2 = 2*Base + 49

So having a Stat doubled is like having a Base stat doubled AND getting +50 point to it.
That makes 35 At Huge Power equal 120 At without it.

The only move I ever hear this about is volt-tackle, and it's true. It's just electric type Double Edge, but since Pikachu is the apex shillmon no one else gets to learn it ever. It's not like the description is something that makes sense to be a signature move either, it's execution is basically the same as wild charge so there's no real reason other mons shouldn't be able to learn it.
