Both games try way too hard to be "dark" and "mature" but end up as something that would appeal to a fatherless 14yo. Random ass deaths and stuff.
Reborn tried to force you to use some random mons to diversify your team. I'd say it's a good thing but most trainers have movesets you can't even get because they're illegal.
The only redeeming quality of the game is the terrains but the flaws are too big to actually enjoy it properly.
Insurgence focuses way too much on legendaries it becomes a joke at some point.
