>>49019761I have never said that they deserve to be treated as beasts. All I have done is point out how they are *presented*. You can't really reconcile the view some of you people have with how the franchise presents these things. Again no one has really put forth a good counteraegument on how Pokémon aren't people in their own setting and that's not even touching the other arguments. There is a clear disconnection between what the franchise presents Pokémon as vs the disconnected view people here hold.
When I tell the circus here, who insist on posting material better suited for /trash/, things of that nature, for example that their object of lust is a fictional fantasy critters who is closer to being someone's pet dog than being someone's lover i do it to put how futile these discussions are. Nothing that I've said is wrong, the website for Legends of Arceus, the pokedex, the dialogue in the anime and games, beat the fact that Pokémon aren't people over your head repeatedly. It's a fac that they go out of their way to reinforce and the reason is fairly simple to see if you aren't a pervert who fixates over sexualzing these creatures.
In a similar vain, which I have said before, I wouldn't let people in /his/ get away with spreading misinformation. It's arguments that would repeat themselves. I could very well, say, recommend reading Spartans: A New History or if you have the time and money A Companion to Sparta on one of the subjects I involved myself in if they were particularly stubborn about it.There's no such thing here so these arguments must be repeated. If you people want to talk about your self-serving rot there's always trash but as long as I can set aside a handful of minutes I'm not about to let you people spread your inanity unopposed.
