I actually think Almighty Sinnoh is supposed to be Dialga, Palkia AND Arceus.

Everyone just worships the creator of Hisui and the world as a singular entity, with the two clans having different opinions on what that entity is. Maybe the two clans fight and later it turns out that both were kinda right, but the actual creator was Arceus. I bet male Cynthia also has a role in this reveal.

Maybe it's something like "shi(n)** no o" (e.g., shi(n)nō) which could mean "something** male/man)".

its already stated in the canalave library that Arceus isn't the actual creator, just an avatar. The actual creator is just called the 'original spirit' which 'almighty sinnoh' might be a reference to.

We are almost certain that Sinnoh mythology is inspired by Christianity, so we can infer that Arceus is actually just a physical manifestation of God, i.e. Jesus. The real Pokémon God exists outside of "our" (Pokémon humans') understanding of reality. This also makes the "Arceus hatched from an Egg where there was nothing" lore make sense. The universe was a complete void with 0 energy, and God, who exists above and beyond these planes, created the Arceus egg which kickstarted the Pokémon universe as we know it.

That's what I'm thinking. It's like calling a place "Yahweh" or similar. Arceus could just mean "god," but it's actual name could "Sinnoh." Much like how in Abrahamic religions, God's name is actually Yahweh.
