Pokemon Gen 9 is coming sooner than later, and as such, the TV series will follow suit. But ya wanna know what?

Goh dies.

Yep. Goh will die at the end and for the first time in the series, Ash will have to deal with the death of one of his human companions. As part of Goh's funeral services, they will release all of his Pokemon back into the wild, it'll be a big emotional moment. Ash then vows that he WILL be the very best like no one ever was... for Goh if nothing else.

But yep. Goh dies. He doesn't make it.
