What's wrong with a big boss Pokemon that's tide into the story? I didn't like it in gen 8 because it seemed forced, was a really easy fight and a free catch
But I thought ultra neckcrozma was pretty cool and he kinda slapped my team forcing me to come up with an actual strategy.

I know what you mean, I think it be cool if each area had its own "leader/alpha" mon that would wreck your shit when you first encounter them but you can go back to fight and possible capture them once you level up more
