I was really hoping we got a gen 7 pmd, with ultra beasts and necrozma as some threat. Hopefully with gen 9 we could get a new pmd, or one for gen 8 if there's still enough time.

Might be a good idea to do something similar to what Gates to Infinity did and limit it to the current generation's starters (plus Alola's because there was no Mystery Dungeon game during Gen 7), Pikachu, Eevee because it's basically a second mascot at this point, Riolu, mainly because it's PMD's mascot, and Toxel for a wildcard, similar to Axew in GtI. Any more ideas are welcomed.
