They won't. It's been a staple since Hoenn and it's confirmed they wanted the early dark type shitmon trope since Gen 2
Cope. Arguing against it is as pointless as arguing against the rodents or the birds. It doesn't even affact the games sub-par quality.

Thievul is perfectly fine to use in-game. It isn't good but it sure as hell isn't holding you back horribly.
87 SpA, Nasty Plot, Snarl and possibly Psychic by Level 22 is fine. If you fish for TMs, it can Baton Pass Nasty Plot too.
Compare it to the joke that was gen V Purrloin and there's a world of difference.

It's a perfectly fine archetype; there's nothing wrong with having a variety of common shit mammals to use instead of just the Normal rat. It provides an edgy alternative for players who aren't willing to wait until later to catch something rarer/better.

beat SwSh few weeks ago after dropping off around Champion rebattles. I swept Leon with Thievul. Unburden + Sp.ATTK Berry with a Nasty Plots on Aegislash (he did sometimes use his Sword move and that was a %) Would have done it first try if I didn't have to use Snarl fuck Dark Pulse TM and Wild Area shops.

So if thievul can pretty much solo the champion, you are bitching over fanfic or nothing.

Its actually the thread where I got my 'dox fick' edit given by the bird-bro himself if you can believe it, how stupid everyone was to honestly think that teh internez are eternal quite foolishly untill not so long ago...
I know its trivialy easy for any non-idiot to sanitize those DropBox pics with Photoshop, but I'm neither for for the task unfortunately and to be frank, I wouldn't dare doing so without ensuring the result wouldnbe pixel-perfect with the source...
