Just beat the elite 4 and the champion.
Started looking up how to get legendaries, and holy fuck what were they thinking? Why did they remove the forces of nature from being catchable? Where are the the Johto dogs and birds? The hoen trio?
Most generations add most shit back int othe roster with the "third" title. This thing barely even gave anything in events. If we're talking about shit you can't catch in the game, the wifi events only covered the sinoh trio, deoxys, and mewtwo for some reason. Even Jirachi event was region-locked to Japanese copies of the game.
It's weird because the amount of post game stuff and the feature s provided by the game pretty chunky so it's not like they were being lazy, the work is clearly there, and I love the game in spite of for some reason being apparently, but holy fuck I'm playing on a DS with no cheating tools, so the only way for me to get half these legendaries is to either buy another DS and like six more games, or connect via wifi to the classic network dns and hope somene is stupid enough to trade me the missing legendaries for a bunch of eevies. Like wtf bruh?
