Considering you want a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game that is not sad, that legit cannot happen as all of them get sad in some way.

Perhaps other franchises in the Mystery Dungeon banner like Chocobo or Shirin The Wanderer would be good in this case?

Mystery Dungeon Sky is the best Pokemon one but Chocobo Mystery Dungeon is pretty good too. I got the Switch version that had partners (Everybuddy) for $20 on a sale.
