Why do Legends fans say that ugly graphics is an art style choice? Nobody is asking for a realistic one just one which doesn't hurt their eyes to look at thanks to muddy and pixelated textures. LGPE was just fine

Some say that it's because the world is bigger and more demmanding but it's not even open world and BOTW looks better so I don't think that's the reason

I don't see why it's so hard for them to say it's just not good. They can still enjoy aspects like the gameplay but to pretend the game is perfect encourages lower effort and stagnation.

Pokemon is their entire identity so if someone says something about Pokemon is bad, then they're insulting the thousand of hours/dollars the offended shill has spent on the series.

Because we went two years of shills saying the same thing for Sword and Shield which wasn't even consistent with it's "choice" where at least Legends is.

I actually think the game stylistically looks pretty good. I like the watercolor approach. That said it looks muddy as shit and the textures are terrible and awfully low res. I don't recoil when looking at it though but I agree it should be better. Still prefer it over something like LGPE
