It's just Wyrdeer. The Sneasel evolution for climbing, maybe Kleavor does something like smash rocks, Basculin evo for surfing, and Braviary form for flying. 1 pokemon for each thing.

It can be both. They didn't have to remove towns, gyms, trainer battles, points of interest for a non-linear experience. But they did. Now it's just the SWSH wild area with less to do.

The last time a Pokemon game was actually finished was B2W2. Every fucking game is missing entire chunks of content that has previously existed, they are like tech demo releases. Even LGPE was at least polished.

This is going to be the worst offender by far, 1 town, open-ended story, probably all these broken new mechanics that make the game piss easy and unfun. And Pokemon fans are going to eat that shit up.

There should be a game that lets you catch shit, you're right. But they shouldn't sacrifice literally every other feature, and if its a game where you are literally only looking and collecting Pokemon in an empty world, the Pokemon and the empty world should LOOK good.

I rewatched some of the older trailers recently and didn’t notice how many waterfalls there were, which seemingly means we’ll be able to scale much higher cliffs with Basculegion. As well as a lot of the taller hills having ores which are otherwise out of reach, which gives me the feeling that there will be a Noble Pokémon that you can use to climb the mountains.
