>>49056202>If you read my posts, I'm very carefully replying by not implying this was the case and acknowledgy you, technically, in this thread, said its a possibility.Again, we've talked before, and I'm pretty sure I phrase it very similarly every time I bring it up. Sorry if there was a time I didn't, again, I can be pretty retarded.
>In any case, its a common spread bit of misinfo that should die.I thought I was the only one who was spreading it, sorry if it's way more common than I think. Even legit information can be explained really fucking badly (look at the retard who thought the chronology tweet was about multiple universes).
>They're equally "valid", they're just gameplay conveniences to work around that these games are that, games. Same as the DQ kings telling you your missing exp points, this isn't what's happening in-universe, its just to help the player.I guess, but when I literally walk across a bridge to visit somebody else's game it's definitely a lot different feeling, yeah? Again, I might just be reading too much into it, but you have to agree that's a bit of a stretch to say it's just gameplay, but it could arguably just be a massive stretch in general.
>Contrast to the other mentions of a multiverse such as BW where you only need a traded mon and its then explained to you(after you did, not TO do so)Firstly, it's explained you need a Pokemon from another world to get the time machine working. Secondly, how would you know to do it if it wasn't explained to you beforehand?
Here's a question, did you believe a multiverse of any sort existed before BW?
>>49056208That's way more important pre-Gen 5, since the change of translation teams. Gen 5 in particular is a pretty straight word for word translation, although it arguably misses a lot of the more tonal things which can be just as important. If you can find the Japanese text that would really help a lot.
