I have to admit I was kinda worried the battles were all going to be turned into a Tales style game where turns were eliminated in Pokémon. Apparently it’s still there in the boss battles but when you throw out a Pokémon to fight in the wild, it looks like it switches to turn base while still in the over world. Tbh that’s a relief for me. The game’s different enough but still has the core gameplay mechanics from all the other mainline titles.

And yes /vp/ I am going to buy it anyway because fuck you.
