Here's something that annoys me about modern Pokemon fans.
Back in even around 2009, if you were interacting with anyone in the Pokemon fandom, it was almost a GARUNTEE they played or grew up with the Gen 1 games. Either they watched the first seasons of the anime, or they had Red, Blue or Yellow.
Nowadays? Not a fucking chance. You're more likely to meet someone who was born in 2007 and first game was Black and White 2. And now we have people being nostalgic over the Gen 4 games? Get real... those are modern Pokemon games, not very nostalgic at all. The chance you're talking to an original fan is dwindling more and more as the years go on.
