It didn't save Gen 8, but Galarvae should still appreciate BDSP because BDSP were such blatant cashgrabs that they made SwSh look great in comparison.

Cool, then where are the rest of the 400+ Pokemon and regional forms from newer gens?
You can't call a game "gen 8" if there's no way to obtain mons from said gen

SwSh also removed plenty of moves and Pokemon, hence the Dexit controversy. PLA won't have all the Pokemon either. Maybe the only commonality in Gen 8 is not having all the Pokemon so that people would be forced to pay for Home.
