Hater's gonna hate, just reliving my childhood in the best way. The DP era was the last series that had that genuine spark for me, with the starters, the legendaries, the exploration, everything. All this new stuff they keep trying is basically Digimon's problem, where they can't stay on the formula that works and just improve on it.

BDSP are the worst Pokemon games in existence. Imagine wanting a remake with shitty chibi graphics and nothing new or unique added to spice up the original. You can't even send any gen 5+ Pokemon over from fucking Home. If I wanted to replay Gen 4 I'd just replay fucking Platinum seeing as it's better than BDSP anyway.

I'm not saying their bad games bc I'm not autistic, just not for me. Swsh seemed far better bc of the open raid battle area, while bdsp has ..... a few caves where you need to find some gay item to summon legendaries.It does have a lot of Pokemon in the underground but it just doesn't feel fun to explore.idk. I think it comes down to personal taste

Tldr bdsp bad and gay, swsh 10 times better.

Gaming is fucking dead. I miss when this industry had passion and wasn't just about money. Sure, gaming companies have always sought to be profitable since that's what makes the world go round, but at least the developers and execs used to CARE. Once gaming established itself as a media giant all those greasy greedy dipshits who've never touched a game in their life decided to milk every gamer for every God damn penny they could while spending as little on development as possible. It's just fucking sad.

Remakes are supposed to have all of the newer Pokemon added. FRLG did it, HGSS did it, and ORAS did it.

Game companies spend TOO MUCH on development nowadays, that's the fucking problem. Budgets are bloated to the point that if the a game doesn't sell millions, it fails to at least break even and the company goes out of business.

Bull shit. If games have TOO HIGH of a budget these days, why are so many fucking games launching increasingly more bare bones and with shorter total playtime than games from previous gens and years? The amount of gameplay you can get out of an average early 2000s game vs a game this year is absurd. I'm lucky if a new game these days lasts me a single fucking day, even a whole weekend is too much to ask usually.

Production costs increasing doesn't mean games become any easier to make, nor does an increased budget equal more manpower. Games have gotten more expensive to make, but they've also gotten harder to make.
