My biggest issue isn't the hands or proportions or even the awful idle pose, it's the way they handled its hips and tail. If they wanted it to look like a lizard, the tail would be an extension of its torso instead of looking tacked onto the back. Ends up looking really uncanny, and not in the way super humanlike pokemon like jynx or gothitelle seem to intend to (not that they're exactly good either). Baffling how they understood this 20+ years ago with charizard and forgot.
Still better than the other two gen 8 starters and the best of its line but man, a few tweaks and it truly could've been great.
