dragonite isnt a 1v9 turbocarry ala tsareena or old venu, hes just tanky, has moderate damage and lot of utility (securing objectives with hyper beam, low cd unite to spam buddy barrier, backcapping with unite)

Fire blast. I did a lot of testing with flare blitz and have concluded it’s charizard’s worst move. Cooldown makes farming awful, gets interrupted by everything, shield isn’t that great.
Scope lens is the most important item.
Due to the attack speed cap making muscle band practically worthless for zard, razor claw is next.
I’ve tried buddy barrier, energy amp, and focus band in the third slot and liked all of them but I’ve been running buddy barrier lately because the Chinese don’t want me to see my health while I’m ulting.
Eject button is ok if you’re still learning, x attack is its best active item.
If you’re jungling you can gank just fine with flamethrower, keep an eye on the enemy jungler’s whereabouts and use your x attack. You can usually get a kill or two with flamethrower + an auto. Get the bees, get your kill, see if you can score, but don’t be shy about backing off since their jungler might come to investigate. Get back to yours before the froakie in top lane eyes it up, skip the mid corphish.
You should have level 7 (if the enemy team is playing really smart and denying you scores and/or bees) or 8 by dred. Get to 9 using the audinos if your team’s bad or go back and snag the buffalo for it if they’re good. Sometimes you have to trust your team to hold because you really need 9 to contribute at dred unless the enemy is awful and they’re all dead.
If you’re laning, play very safely. Last hitting is hard and you’re squishy, but you can shit out damage and have good range.
Try to get the enemy to use their berries before you ult to dive an outer tower.
Ulting an unstoppable enemy gives you 90% of the charge back…and buddy barrier if you have it. If you don’t want to ult at the moment but need some extra oomph to win a fight, there it is. Speaking of which, you’ll get 3-4 ultra per game. Save one for zapdos and use your x attack during all of them, but don’t be stingy with your x attack otherwise.

Think about when first dred happens. Winning it can give most/all of your team ults, which means the other team doesn't have ults, which means you can roll over them right then and there and keep pushing that advantage.
Once everyone's "online," that big chunk of exp is still valuable, but now you all can farm, contest things, etc. so it's not as crucial as that first one. Rotom can help you dive tier two towers, which isn't easy otherwise.
For objective importance, it goes big bird > first dred > last rotom. Last rotom is important because it either buys your team time during big bird or guarantees you one (or more if both of their top goals are broken) 100 point dunk. Still helpful if it's a two rotom game but if it's a 3 rotom spawn game then the timing lines up wonderfully with zapdos/articuno spawning.

first dred is only important cause it helps your teammates get their unite moves, but even then it's not that important, the only important it has is psycological, your bot laners will tilt if you don't do what reddit tells you to ALL go bot and get the hecking dredrino so it's better if you go and appease them

rotom has been more important for a while now cause this game is about scoring, since the nerf you can just easily farm to make up the measley gap experience dred can cover, it becomes a waste but an empty top lane and your top lane being rotom'd means the team that gets rotom will always have score advantage WHICH means the team that doesn't have rotom or top lane secured, WILL always have to force zapdos or play on the backfoot

She's very good.
Very mobile, shits out damage, and has enough shields and healing to outlast a good chunk of the cast.
Just beware of getting stunned, that fucks her up more than most other mons due to needing to constantly attack to get her shields and heals, and getting stunned puts a stop to all that.

Why does Garchomp feel so fucking weak? Not a single one of my moves feels like it's worth more than just autoattacking. The dragon moves just push opponents away to safety, while the ground moves have shit range.

You're supposed to use the ground moves. Hardest part about chomp is knowing when to engage and back off. Most players just don't know when and where it is a acceptable to fight with chomp.

The ground moves have so much lag to them. Dig takes like a half second after using it before you can do anything, and Earthquake is the same with startup. As a result, if somebody is running away, neither of them does a damn thing.

Why would you even be chasing a ranged that can kite well with chomp? Fall back to your goal, teammates or wherever. Chomps main purpose is burning down objectives fast and causing havoc with his unite in a team fight. You don't 1v1 with chomp on the open map and just hope the enemy is too dumb to run away.

With dig you're invulnerable while underground, you get a defensive boost, and you cc the enemy on the spot instead of pushing him away with dragon rush. So dig is better for chasing and escaping unites. Earthquake gives 3 auto attack pips so you get to 5 faster for the auto attack boost, that's its main use and chomps main purpose is auto attacking anyway.

It's a fine gimmick if the moves are designed around it. Charizard has no problems sticking to people because its autos have good range, it can move while doing them, and its good moves hinder the opponents' mobility and enhance its mobility. Garchomp either lacks those qualities or has much shittier versions of them. Or look at greninja.

I'm not suggesting him to play like a attacker, I'm suggesting you just play smart, know what chomp can and can't do well. Yes chomp can't chase as well as the other all rounders(besides charizard). So you're just more limited in playstyle, he's not a high tier for a reason but if you know how to use him he can still be valuable in the right situations

You have to hit them but they potential of sticking once you do is much higher than dig/rush because you can move while auto attacking. Neither of them are great chasers but garchomp isn't better at chasing than it. Give charizard a try sometime, if you like chomp you'll probably have fun.

This is soloq, as a chomp player myself I can easily take over a game because there's no shortage of players that think they can out melee chomp on my own goal. Talking to all you tsareena players and outrage dragonite players. His unite is great and during zap or dred if my team is supporting me they're toast. Smart players who party together know better how to bully chomp early and avoid him late

He certainly started out that way with SpinSpout being absolutely busted.
Spinstoise was regularly doing 90k-100k damage back then.
Eventually that moveset got nerfed to where SurfPump was the best moveset, and that was still really good for damage and displacement.
Eventually Hydro Pump got nerfed too and now he's just mostly good for pushing people around, though his ult still hits like a truck.

There is an unspoken rule where if your jungler fucks up and doesn't check the camera to see which lane he should be heading in after he clears it and it costs the lives of your laners, it's fair game to steal his mobs upon spawning to keep up in levels.

I see way too many junglers who just "guess". You should be checking lanes while clearing mobs to either spot their own jungler if he's quicker than you, seeing if a lane is already getting pressured close to goal and needs help, or seeing which of your lanes is aggressing the enemy goal which will most likely attract the attention of their jungler and that's where he will be going.

I feel like it's just a different way to play. Not necessarily a worse one. Razor leaf is better for doing sustained damage against higher-health targets, while spirit shackle is better for doing burst damage, picking off high-priority targets, and preventing escapes.

I cannot think of a single game where you aren't allowed to see the score. There is no benefit to it. The mechanic doesn't do what it's intended, people still surrender en masse, why keep it around? Even fucking Mario Party games that are supposed to be casual and have people be 60 stars behind still let you see the score.

eldegoss is one of the best pokemon in the game, easy top 3 since day 1. However, it's much less self-sufficient than wigglytuff.
I'd say go wigglytuff. Or if you're not a fan of supports but want to play a "support," try mime. Not a fan of his gameplay at all myself but you might be.

who do you pick in these scenarios? I generally go blastoise, with the idea being I can both possibly give the team a backbone and potentially snipe zap. I have a 49% winrate on blastoise mostly due to this.

Just had a lane Gengar on my team, we won but I checked his profile after and he had a 36% winrate with him. He hovered so many other picks which fit our comp better and he had more games/better winrates with and then ultimately decided on that for whatever reason.

The profile winrates get pozzed if you experiment with different characters in random to avoid losing rank. Its not really a good measure of someone skill.

I just had a match against a team of Gardevoir, Ninetales, Pikachu, Wigglytuff, and Blastoise.
As Tsareena.
It's like I had the Anti-Tsareena Task Force deployed to ransack my house.
Couldn't do shit for the most part.
We still won cuz our Machamp and Blastoise managed to take out four of them and went to score before heading back to take Articuno, but man, I was pretty much a non-entity that whole match.

You can repeat them infinitely solo, it’s just easier/faster to do two quick games with squad members than 15 ranked matches(maybe some less if you get mvp)

50% is pretty average for soloq. Below that is even more average if you play a non-carry mon like Snorlax or Slowbro or any support. Above that is very average if you play a carry like Zera or Petalsaur. And "friend matches" don't even indicate if it was a 5-stack, could just be one dude playing with one friend or maybe just trying to fill up event missions for tickets.
