Then you need to apply that over the average player-base variety in taste, which it ends up being about 1/3 of your sex needs to have appeal across all input margins for it to be considered a success. I think I liked exactly 8, and I'll admit you really had a great idea with the mom that changes with the incense. But I honestly can't say I believe you hit that 1/3 ratio. So even if you completed a game I don't think it'd get a lot of traction. I think people here would definitely play it but I don't think it'd get far outside the 4chan, discord, reddit audience.
My ultimate point being: don't find success in one instance if the foundation for that success is wrought with failure. That success won't last: be open to input and see what succeeds more than fails not only what succeeds
