>>49084941Of course not, they're a relatively small company who had pretty much no 3D experience at the time and the only experience they did have was what 3D assets were produced for DPPt and BW(2). Creatures had experience creating 3D Pokemon models and animations as far back as Stadium 0 which was from '98 IIRC. Given how amateurish everything they've made since they left the realm of 2D/Sprites is, why would you WANT models produced by Game Freak?
But yeah, logical decision in this case aside, they're fucking lazy and deserve to be raked over the coals but won't because the majority of this fanbase are kids/teens with no standards and adults who desperately need a clique to belong to.
