Well, keep in mind one thing that /vp/ demands and doesn't matter to a large portion of the audience is having a robust post-game. The main campaign is just an extended tutorial to a lot of people here and isn't you know, the whole fucking game.

I thought they were alright. I loved the way the league worked, with focus on battling as an actual sport. And the champion is great and actually does stuff, while the evil team doesn't bog down the game. It did feel a bit thin though, mainly in story/charaters and regional flavor. The routes and towns could have been better/more lively.

I’ve started playing it again to complete the dex and shit and it’s enjoyable. I like seeing pokemon walking around and fighting the former champions. The story could’ve been more thought out though. Like a lot.
