Unfuck Rock and Ice.

Rock is no longer weak to Ground and Water, and its new additional resistances are Dark and Bug.

Ice resists Dragon, Fairy, Ground, and Water.

my proposition
>Dragon immunity is changed to a resistance
>Normal types are immune to Fairy type attacks (they don’t believe in fairies) and vice versa
>Now weak to Rock (big rock crush tiny pixie)
Ice needs more buffs but I don’t think suddenly giving it 5 resistances is a great idea. It’s supposed to be more of an offensive type. All I would change is for Water and Steel to lose their resistances to Ice, and then it’s fine. Ice should be balanced around being an offensive type, it shouldn’t have so many things resist it.
Rock I just think is a lost cause because it’s basically steel but much worse

Remove ice.
Remove one of rock's weaknesses, ground makes the most sense of the 5.

Removes the worst type.
Gives a very small but sorely needed buff to grass.
Balance out rock's weakness to strength ratio.
Make dragon feel slightly more powerful, lord knows they need it.
Much needed buff to flying types.
Nerf's steel slightly offensively but leaves it practically unchanged defensively.
Nerf's fire/fighting, the biggest nerf anything receives from this decision.
Buff's ground defensively.

Find a flaw in this, I'll wait.

They're not bad per se, just not great.
There are a lot that suffer from bad dual-typings and 4x weaknesses.
They're only super-effective against some of the worst types.
Weak to electric which is one of the best types.

I'd actually remove the weakness to grass pokemon, That way from a gameplay perspective if the first gym leader happens to be rock. Then you have 1 type weak to it being fire, 1 type neutral to it being grass and 1 type being effective against it being water. Though grass would probably need a buff itself maybe making it resist fairy would cut it.
